Three suspects have reportedly been arrested in connection with the disappearance of phone dealer, Nana Yaw Kyere, popularly known as Terry.
The victim is said to have gone missing for several days after allegedly traveling to meet a client at Teshie in Accra to complete a phone deal.
According to a close associate, Terry sent him a WhatsApp message around midnight on Sunday claiming he had been “set up” by a girl in a room at Teshie. He reportedly shared a photo of the room and his live location.
The associate became suspicious because the messages did not appear to match Terry’s usual style of communication. Around 3 a.m., another message reportedly came through claiming Terry had been released.
However, Terry’s family later confirmed that he had not returned home and could not be reached. The associate subsequently discovered that the photo and location shared in the chat had been deleted.
His Honda Civic has reportedly been located, but his whereabouts remain unknown.
